LA: Shaping an Age-Friendly City
About this event
ChaiVillageLA, Temple Isaiah, and Temple Emanuel invite you to take part in a lively discussion of some very important issues:
- What does it mean to make a city 'age-friendly?'
- How does the Los Angeles area measure up?
- What is happening to make neighborhoods more livable and transportation easier for older adults?
- How will LA meet our needs as we grow older?
Our discussion will feature distinguished panelists: MIKE FEUER; LA City Attorney, PAUL IRVING, Chair, Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging; LAURA TREJO, General Manager, LA Department of Aging; and JENNIFER COHEN, Director of Government Affairs, LA Department of Transportation
Everyone is welcome but must register:
ChaiVillageLA members * Temple Isaiah and Temple Emanuel members * Community members
Please invite your friends and be sure to register by February 19. (See below for registration instructions.)
Light refreshments will be served.
