At ChaiVillageLA, we believe a better experience of aging is possible when we can grow with and rely on each other. Every day, our members come together to create new possibilities for what's next in our lives. By forming a community, we have created a purposeful and powerful space for learning, laughter and joy as we take on the future. ChaiVillageLA is a collaboration of Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills and Temple Isaiah, grounded in Jewish values.

YOU ARE INVITED TO "THE HEADLINES AND THE LAW"
A Four-Part Lecture Series Sponsored by ChaiVillageLA
at Temple Isaiah

Many of today's most important news stories deal with the law. From immigration to Supreme Court appointments to the Mueller investigation, understanding what is happening can be challenging without a legal background. ChaiVillageLA member Victor Gold, Professor of Law and Dean Emeritus at Loyola Law School, has been providing his thoughts and answering your questions.

Professor Gold's first lecture, on October 5, was attended by over 80 people. Village Program Chair Lorna Belman commented, "He provided a fascinating perspective on Justice Kavanaugh's nomination process. The audience response was extremely positive and people are eager to hear more at the next three lectures."
