Make an Empty Apartment a Home with PATH

We need your help to support a previously homeless family
In conjunction with PATH, ChaiVillageLA is again helping to furnish their new apartment

ChaiVillageLA has again been given the opportunity to participate in a move-in with PATH (People Assisting the Homeless).  This will be the 6th time we have had the chance to change the lives of fellow Angelenos who have found themselves in difficult financial and social situations. We will be helping a mom and her 5 month old daughter move off the streets and into a home of their own. They are moving into a Hollywood apartment. 

Because of three very generous donations from ChaiVillageLA members Myrna Hant, Eileen Dardick, and Glenn and Eleanor Padnick, we are able to assist in purchasing basic pieces for furniture. 

There are many other smaller items that the family has requested and we are asking our members to pitch in by buying what you can. You can see the items on our Amazon gift registry at https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/185RJ3UWG3GPA?ref_=wl_share.

All items purchased on the registry will be delivered to the home of Andrea and Terry Pullan, and on the move-in date, those Village members who have signed up to participate in the move-in will join together and transport them to the family's new home. 

The move-in usually takes 3 hours and is incredibly moving--particularly when children are involved.  Watching their faces light up as volunteers create a "home" for them is a transformative experience. To sign up for the move-in, please click Register Now.
