Join the ChaiVillageLA Voter Registration Group (in partnership with the League of Women Voters) as we register 700 students at Palmdale High on Wednesday, October 30th. This will be our second year at Palmdale and our largest drive yet as we make it possible for 17 and 18 year olds to vote for the first time.
 
We have been invited into the 12th-grade Civics and Econ classes where students in leadership will help us register 35-40 kids per class.  This is a large high school with two-three classes per period and seven periods.  So we will be busy!
 
We are hoping to arrange carpools leaving from West L.A. at about 5:30 AM to get to the high school by 7 AM (Sorry for the early hour. Coffee and bagels will be provided.). The day will be long but also fun and truly rewarding. If you’ve never registered voters before, we will train you (It’s easy.).
