About this event
NEW LAWS ON ABORTION ACCESS: HOW SHOULD JEWS RESPOND?
With the recent wave of new legislation either codifying or challenging Roe vs. Wade (U.S. Supreme Court ruling, 1973), the public debate on abortion access and women’s reproductive health care has become increasingly polarized. Leading Reform Jewish thought leader Rabbi Rachel Sabath Beit-Halachmi, Ph.D. and Daphne Lazar Price of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance will go beyond traditional political divides to explore the ethical and practical implications of currently debated policies. How does our Judaism – from Orthodox and Reform perspectives -- reframe a controversial conversation? RSVP to
