Dr. Michael Belman will discuss the present and future of Medicare. Mike is a board-certified Internist and Pulmonologist. He graduated from the UCLA School of Public Health, with expertise in Health Services and Delivery. Mike recently retired from over twenty years as an executive at Anthem Inc., the nation's second largest health insurance company. During that time, he was closely involved with a variety of issues relating to health care coverage. His talk will focus on ways to navigate Medicare, now and in the future.
Discussion and Dessert is presented once a month, throughout the year, at different homes of members of ChaiVillageLA; it features a speaker/discussion leader on any subject of interest. Subjects may include politics, world problems, sex, immigration, millennials and baby boomers, spousal abuse, finance, Israel, security, health, sports, art, literature, movies, TV, etc. The sky is the limit! Dessert, coffee, and tea follows the discussion.
We have a different host home each month, with the host selecting the subject for discussion and either personally serving as the speaker/discussion leader or finding a speaker of their choice to lead the group that evening. The host provides the dessert and refreshments.
Discussion and Dessert is on Sunday evenings with discussion at 7:30 to 8:30 PM, followed by dessert 8:30 to 9:00 PM.
