Yasmine Novak, filmmaker and editor of the Emmy award-winning documentary about the October 7 Hamas terror attack at the Nova Music Festival in Israel will be joining us over Zoom to discuss how she culled through endless hours of raw footage to put together this minute-by-minute retelling of that fark and fateful day. Yasmine Novak’s work spans documentaries, shorts, and impact projects, with a focus on intimate, character-driven storytelling. She champions underrepresented voices and uses film to spark dialogue and community. She will be interviewed by Temple member David Chiu.
