About this event
Do you have a teenager in your life (local or non-local)?
Are you interested in the well-being of your teenager and understanding what is happening in their brain and in their world?
Join Temple Isaiah for a PG-13 Series of Sacred Conversations: Building Community & Creating Change geared towards parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents of teenagers.
All events will take place at 6:00-8:00 PM in the Temple Isaiah Social Hall. Dinner will be at 6:00, and the conversation will begin at 6:30 PM.
1. Decoding the Teen Brain - February 11
Led by Lisa Rostaing, this highly informative lecture will help every parent and grandparent understand why their teen behaves the way they do from a biological perspective.
2. Mental Health First Responder - March 10
with Rose Levenson
3. Social Media Etiquette - April 28
with Jonathan Cristall
About Sacred Conversations:
Judaism has always been a counter-cultural practice: a check on society’s belief that the highest expression of value is the celebration of the individual and his/her capacity to effect change alone.
Temple Isaiah believes in the power of community and the value of sharing stories, previously only told in private, as a means to connect, deepen relationships, discover similarities, and find a path forward together towards wholeness.
