ChaiVillageLA is announcing the opportunity to virtually travel to Israel in an intimate, interactive, and immersive tour offered by the Jewish National Fund.
While physical travel is impossible at this time, this is the next best thing!
During the week of July 6-10th, you will have the opportunity to take a virtual tour of Israel led by one of JNF's professional guides from Israel who will show you the sights, provide commentary, and let you experience the miracle of Israel via ZOOM. It’s not the real thing, but from personal experience it is the next BEST thing to being there in person.
Tourism in Israel, like everywhere else, is at a standstill. The guides Jewish National Fund use are true professionals and are out of work. To keep them busy and provide some income, the registration fee is $50 for each ZOOM spot for the entire week (which includes up to 3 people at the same location using one zoom camera) that will go directly to your guide.
The tour includes 4 days of unique touring, including one hour of touring (4:00-5:00 PM), followed by discussion time (5:15--6:00 PM). On Friday, instead of touring, the program features a one-hour pre-Shabbat experience at 4:00 PM to end our week together.
You will be paired with other participants from ChaiVillageLA on your virtual bus with no more than 23 spots so you can have a truly interactive experience.
