Know Your Worth - Advot Project with Founder Naomi Ackerman




Join us for a conversation with Naomi Ackerman, Founder and Executive Director of The Advot Project, which uses art-based curriculums to teach communication and relationship skills, empowering participants to find their voices and use them. We will learn about the work of The Advot Project, including The Ripple Method, Relationships 101 inside a juvenile incarceration facility, The Home Shalom, and Know Your Worth Day. Naomi will share stories and video clips, as well as answer questions about the ripple method, social action and the importance of art as a facilitator of change.

About Naomi Ackerman:

Naomi Ackerman is an experienced actress, consultant, and facilitator.  She creates curriculums that use drama techniques to deal with social, gender, and educational issues, as well as exploring identity and promoting tolerance and dialogue between diverse participants. For the past 30 years, Naomi Ackerman the founder and executive director of The Advot Project, worked globally with diverse populations using theatre as a vehicle for dialogue, reconciliation, and empowerment as well as exploring gender, race, and discrimination.  It was out of this work and her strong Jewish values that the “Ripple Process” was born.
