PATH Virtual Move-In


In conjunction with PATH, ChaiVillageLA is again helping to furnish a new apartment for a previously homeless family.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Village members created a home for a mom and three kids on a prior Move-in


ChaiVillageLA has again been given the opportunity to participate in a Move-in with PATH (People Assisting the Homeless).  This will be the 7th time we have had the chance to change the lives of fellow Angelenos who have found themselves in difficult financial and social situations. We will be helping 3 kids who recently lost their mom. An older child is caring for two younger siblings. They are moving into a Long Beach apartment. 

Because of four very generous donations from ChaiVillageLA members Myrna Hant, Eileen Dardick, Glenn and Eleanor Padnick, and Elaine Deutsch, we are able to assist in purchasing larger items such as a sofa, rug, dressers and more.

There are many other smaller items that the family has requested and we are asking our members to pitch in by buying what you can. You can see the items on our Amazon gift registry at https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/185RJ3UWG3GPA?ref_=wl_share.

All items purchased on the registry will be delivered to the home of Andrea and Terry Pullan, and on the move-in date, a couple of Village members will transport them to the family's new home. Because of Covid restrictions, we will not be entering the home. PATH staff has agreed to help set up the apartment.

Past Move-ins have been incredibly moving experiences for Village members who participated, watching the family members' faces light up as their empty apartment is transformed into a new home.
