ART ACROSS CULTURES

The National Museum of Asian Art



The creation of art is a human endeavor. This tour will examine how objects shed light on the differing values of societies. We will explore religious, political and domestic objects ranging in time from 500 BCE to 1900 CE and from the Middle East to Early 20th Century America at the National Museum of Asian Art.

This tour should give us something to think about when we look at our own objects -- when will they someday be considered works of art?
