Do you remember "Discussion and Dessert" fondly? We are now delighted to present "Discussion Without Dessert" (DWD) a new monthly Village speaker series that will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Our first speaker will be Scott A Stone, award-winning television producer and creator, Adjunct Professor in the USC School of Cinematic Arts and Marshall School of Business and one of the co-Presidents of Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills.

Scott was at the forefront of the explosion called "reality television" when he started his company in the late 80's. He has been in continuous production over thirty years and has produced nearly fifty TV series and specials. Scott and his partner, artist Gary Brown, have two teenaged sons who grew up at Temple Emanuel.

Scott's topic will be: "Where Judaism and Profession Collide; How Judaism affects his creative and moral compass as a TV producer and vice versa." After Scott's presentation, there will be ample time for Q&A.
