You probably have a last will and testament.  You hopefully also have a living will, an end of life directive. But do you have an ethical will that conveys the values and stories that shape how you want to be remembered by those who matter most to you? 

Join Rabbi Laura Geller and Village member Julie Grass for an interactive and engaging three session class:

Part II - July 27: Ethical wills include both the content of what you want to communicate and how you want to present it.  We will explore ways you can add your voice visually. You might use photos, family letters, color, collage, or create a family tree.This is not meant to be a grand art piece, but another expression of who you are. We will use our time together to brainstorm and create. 

Part III - August 3: We will share what we have written in smaller groups and reflect on what we have learned in the process.

Discussions about the inevitable can take you out of your comfort zone, but our conversation series has been designed to guide your exploration of these issues. In this multi-part series experts will answer your questions and assist you in planning for the future. You'll gain information and insight on topics that include creating ethical wills, leaving a legacy and talking to your adult children. Join in and become an expert in your own future.

ChaiVillageLA members are encouraged to invite their adult children to join the conversation. We also encourage members of Temple Isaiah and Temple Emanuel to participate.
